Trudy A. Nearn

Trudy Nearn is the firm's founding attorney. She is a specialist in estate planning, trust, and probate law as certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. In addition to her law degree from the University of California Hastings College of Law, Trudy has earned a Master of Laws in Taxation degree from Golden Gate University.

Trudy and Generations were showcased in a feature Sacramento Business Journal article called Estate Fate. She has appeared regularly in the Sacramento Bee in their Ask the Expert feature column.  She was quoted extensively in Comstock magazine in the article Death and Taxes.  Mike Bennett

Mike Bennett is a specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law as certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.  He earned a business economics degree with accounting emphasis from University of California, Santa Barbara and a law degree with tax concentration from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.  He is a member of the Sacramento Estate Planning Council and has served as its Annual Meeting Chairman and as a Director.  Mike was named a Rising Star as a part of Super Lawyers® magazine in 2009. 

Mike grew up in Stockton. He and his family live in Carmichael.  Golfing is his favorite pastime.

Leslie Arnal

Leslie Arnal earned her degree in International Relations at the University of California at Davis and is a graduate of the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where she was a member of the Traynor Honor Society.  Leslie has been practicing law for over twenty years and in the area of estate planning and trust administration for more than twelve years.  She is a member of the Sacramento County Bar Probate and Estate Planning Section, as well as the Trusts and Estates Section of the California State Bar. She is also a member of the North Sacramento Rotary club.

Pam Samuels

Pam Samuels is the Director of Marketing for Generations.  She is responsible for the execution of the strategic marketing plan which includes analysis, development, and implementation of all marketing activities, events, and programs.  She provides awareness and visibility for the firm through her relationship-building approach with business professionals throughout the Greater Sacramento Area and her involvement in community outreach initiatives.  Pam has been in the financial services industry for over 37 years serving in various marketing and sales management roles.  She is married with 2 children and enjoys walking the scenic bike trails surrounding Folsom, California.
